Interview Part 2 How do you decide on the themes of your movies? My favorite themes are drama, horror, and fantasy, but everything depends on my mood and desires. I make a point to work in various genres. Oftentimes, when a film I see on TV or in the movie theater touches me, it sticks in my head for many days at a time, and ideas start to pop up in my head, both for upcoming machinimas and for other artistic projects. What is your creative process when creating machinima? Does the music or the story come first? I start with some vague sсript ideas, but it's the music that really sparks things off. I can spend hours or even days looking for THE music, the music that best fits my expectations. When I listen to it, I can feel the scenes in my machinima coming into being. Synopsis: There is no real storyline in this machinima. We have to deal with a gang of youths from 1960-70 who dance, have fun and entertain us. The film "Hairspray" was my inspiration for this machinima. The film adaption of the musical of the same name. After seeing the film, I wanted to make a machinima as jovial and lively as "The Sims 3".
